Ogden City is proud to host the 67th Annual High School All-Star Games on June 4th, 2010. In this one-day event, three baseball games will be played at Lindquist Field to determine the best of the best of Utah’s high school seniors.

Players of the all-star games come from schools across the state and are voted onto the teams. All of Utah’s high school coaches vote for three of their own best players and nine other players statewide. Students with the most votes—only 90 of Utah’s best players—are invited to play in the all-star games.

Major league scouts and college scouts are present at the games to watch and evaluate up-and-coming players with the potential to play at the college and professional level.

Players and their parents/guests are treated to a banquet the night before the game at Ogden’s local favorite and renowned Timbermine Steakhouse with a guest speaker presentation. Players gain the experience of playing on a professional field—Lindquist Field, home of the Ogden Raptors, farm team for the Los Angeles Dodgers; they also receive an all-star player’s jacket, a ball with logo for signing, a tote bag, team photo, and a shot at MVP awards for the games.
