Mission Statement

The mission of the Ogden City Fire Department is to provide a wide range of services to the community designed to protect and preserve life, property and the environment through the planning, prevention, education and response.

Services

Fire Incident Response; Emergency Medical Services which include First Responder Medical on five Engines, Paramedics by three Rescue Squads, Advanced Life Support (Paramedic) Ambulance Transport via contract to Weber County’s Upper Valley, Basic Life Support Ambulance Transport on four ambulances, Hazardous Materials Technician Level Team Response, and Technical Rescue Team Response.

We provide Ogden City with all these listed services: participate in automatic aid with adjacent cities in Weber County for Structure Fires; provide Paramedic Services to the majority of Weber County through contracts with the Weber County Commission; provide Ambulance Services including inter-facility transport to Ogden and the Northwestern portions of Weber County as outlined in the Utah State Service Area Licensing; and partner with Plain City to provide a part-time staffed ambulance that is based in their community.
